and yes, we got engaged

... it was pretty much a done deal the night we first saw each other again. We had the awesome opportunity to share that day with both of our parents. I drove up to Logan with my parents, we arrived at the Watts' mid-day, got to see almost everyone and then the next couple of days we, and our parents, shared a little more time together. The six of us went to the temple that Friday, also with great friends the Roghaars. We shared dinner together and announced our engagement! The date changed about three times but finally ...

Then we came home ....

It was incredible to come home, meet so many wonderful new members of the family, just simply hug all those we had missed, and then finally be re-united. This first picture is of Erica Martineau and her best friend Matthew. She is now serving in the West Virginia Charleston Mission. The gratitude for the support and love we have been given, while we were away, the gratitude for the cherished moments we will forever have while serving, the people we dearly love and miss, the time shared through letters, leaves an indelible mark on our lives. We have been shaped and changed forever. Thank you. We will try to live the rest of our lives to share what we have been given.

Then came our missions ...

First, we met

Yes, it was pretty much love at first sight. It only took us two years of studying, lots of guidance and miracles from a loving Father in Heaven and, one back surgery, to actually get us together. From that point on though, we could "barely" ever be apart. Okay, maybe we were for two years, but it was only a process of coming closer together .....
